The VirtualSCADA® Anybus Wireless Bridge Serial - Bluetooth is a rugged dual-mode Bluetooth (Bluetooth Smart Ready) serial port adapter. The serial port adapter has embedded Classic Bluetooth stack (SPP, DUN and PAN profiles), Bluetooth low energy stack with u-blox Low Energy Serial Port Service, serial RS232/422/485 interface, and support for seven connected devices simultanously. With its NEMA 4X/IP65-classed eclosure, it is built for tough and demanding environments, indoor or outdoor. The wireless Bridge has implemented the connectBlue Low Emission Mode® feature to make sure that Classic Bluetooth operates smoothly in parallel with other wireless technologies. Further features implemented include Wireless Multidrop™ with simultaneous connections to both Bluetooth low energy and Classic Bluetooth devices and Extended Data Mode™ for separated multipoint data channels so that different data can be sent to or received from each connected device. The Wireless Bridge dual-mode Bluetooth serial port adapter is easily configured via AT commands and comes with an external antenna. The high receiver sensitivity and output power enables a range of up to 1,000 ft (300 meters) whereby the robust Wireless Bridge provides a plug-and-play solution to replace conventional serial cables. The adapter is fully Bluetooth qualified and provides radio type approvals for the US, Europe, Japan and Canada (FCC, R&TTE, MIC, IC). The Wireless Bridge is also compliant with EMC, Safety and Medical standards.
